NUCOR SELECTS JETPOOL AS ITS OUTSOURCED FLIGHT DEPARTMENT - August 1, 2006
Charlotte, North Carolina. Jetpool, LLC announced today that it has been selected by Nucor (symbol: NUE) to serve as the company’s outsourced flight department. Jetpool will be operating and maintaining Nucor’s 2006 Cessna Citation XLS. Jetpool intends to help Nucor optimize the use of its aircraft to better leverage the time of key officers and employees, improve operational efficiency, and enhance flexibility over other aviation travel options.
Jetpool CEO and co-founder, Ryan Stone, stated, “Jetpool is excited to work with a company of Nucor’s caliber. We intend to provide safe and reliable flight operations.
